  1. I ended up not backing this, and have yet to pick it up. I read a review that said Zorro was based on a version of D6 that was more like the first Star Wars RPG. Sounds like the system regressed. Is that review correct?
  2. I think this is fantastic. Thank you for creating it. Has rekindled my interest in D6 again.
  3. I've been checking it out. Seems ok. I think I liked G+ better. Other alternatives to G+ I've seen were not as good as Mewe
  4. I'd be willing to help with maybe a minimum contribution financially, but also willing to test Windows and Linux. Sorry I won't be any help with the Mac effort.
  5. Agreed. If there's no burden, then I feel better having this common touchstone out there. If there is a cost, then lets let it go. There are other platforms.
  6. Charming game, Fallout Shelter. I'm surprised I haven't seen Fallout for d6 yet.
  7. Since last post the two most remarkable shows that have crossed my radar would be Stranger Things and Legion (FX) Those two shows have kind of ruined other shows for me!
  8. Of course. I wouldn't be opposed to it. It's pretty much Firefly.
  9. I just finished the first Dresden Files book. A side effect of his powers is that phones and other tech tend to not work well around him.
  10. Sounds like this Spanish version is being translated to English https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bymt...1PQjhUSnc/edit http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?...5#post19447215
  11. to include a d6 Space adventure. http://oldschoolquarterly.com/issue-zero/
  12. Very successful Kickstarter, so when will it be available (or if it is, where)? Sadly I missed it.
  13. I recently, finally, picked this up. My first impression was very Firefly. Think that was kind of the angle?
  14. Nerdy Show has an actual play podcast of the Ghostbusters RPG. They've presented it on a nice and resourceful site - http://nerdyshow.com/gbrpg/ which includes the files. I haven't listened to it yet.
  15. We just got hooked into Orphan Black. Very entertaining so far. Very well made. Also really enjoying Star Wars Rebels
  16. We've done one of the episodes so far (when they are in India and China) - which are actually a couple of episodes combined. None of the documentaries yet. But at this point I feel we're sticking with the 1920s when Indy wasn't much older then they are now. The episodes we watched were interesting in that they were not cliche or typical. And there were plot threads prominently introduced and not resolved at all. Which I felt was unique, mysterious, and actually rather realistic.
  17. He is 7 and she is 5. My wife semi actively home-schools with them, mainly in the Summer. These were a purchase of 75% fan-boy for me and 25% home-school resources for History lessons! (have you seen what's included in these DVDs?! Amazing!)
  18. we're watching the Young Indiana Jones series for family film night. Other than that the original Land of the Lost series.
  19. I thought I noticed that too. Wasn't it originally from a SSI Gold Box video game?
  20. I just checked a few of mine. I think you're right. I think I've been aware of it on a subconscious level. Cool.
  21. I was that one guy that thought Millennium was better than X-Files. And that resolution episode was a real disappointment. The end of the series (proper, not the X-files resolution) was not bad for closure. The real cliff hanger was between season 2 and 3. Man, I loved that show.
  22. My wife and I are really enjoying Leverage. Just finished the first season. Very clever show. I think it's twice the quality of Burn Notice (which is what we were watching before).
