  1. Sorry for the late reply, I don't check the forums as much as I used to. Yeah, it must be an "upgrade" that Google did because I didn't modify the document. It looks like Lee hooked you up.
  2. Per Wikipedia it looks like the term squad did exist toward the late Middle Ages, so I'd say it's fine as is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_rank#Medieval_ranks
  3. The link is in the first post. You can make it a PDF by printing it with something like CutePDF.
  4. Darren/Infinite Possibilities interpretation is correct. The text of that chapter is OGL if Eric held the copyright at the time he published the material as OGL. The fact that the material had been published in another book prior to that is irrelevant. The fact that Precis Intermedia has since bought the rights to that book is irrelevant. The only relevant thing is whether or not Eric had the legal right to publish the material at the time under the OGL. It seems that Eric held the copyright to both the properties (D6 and Masterbook) at the time and therefore could legally release the material as OGL content. The only way that the chapter would not be OGL content is if Eric at the time didn't legally own the copyright, that is if Eric at the time he released it was committing infringement. This does not seem to be the case as Eric sold the rights to Masterbook to Precis Intermedia. He couldn't sell the rights if he didn't own them to begin with. You can put the PDF of the material back up because Eric released it as OGL when he held the rights to it.
  5. Are you asking if there is an online video game version of the miniature rules? I have no idea.
  6. Morale is affected by troop quality. Average begins with 5, Veteran is 6, and Elite is 7. Being a Hero is slightly different than troop quality. It allows more independent action and heroes are more powerful than troops.
  7. I'm the one that scrubbed the IP and created the document. Yes, the document is part of OpenD6. For section 15 of the OGL you can list the document as follows: OpenD6 Space Miniatures, Copyright 2010, Purgatory Publishing Inc.
  8. Thanks. That's the only thing I found too. I think they stopped working on it since the front page says last updated in 2008.
  9. The cover to Septimus reminds me of the artwork for Fading Suns. Has anyone done a conversion of the Fading Suns material to Septimus/D6 system?
  10. I've thought about doing that one too, but I haven't approached Eric about it. It took me about 2 months to complete this book as I had to re-type the entire book, make substitutions, then proof it. I work for a school and it made a nice summer break project, but now with school back in full swing I'm not sure that I have time to work on the companion at the moment.
  11. ISBN number 0-87431-206-X is Star Wars Miniatures Battles (2nd Edition)
