Was this ever released? If so, was it a book or PDF?

And this website (http://www.speedylook.com/D6_System.html) (at the very bottom of the page) has references to other this and other D6 books I had never heard of:

D6 Bloodshadows: Whisper off Destruction (scenerio)
D6 Adventures Hirings
D6 Fantasy Hirings
D6 Otherwheres Worldbook

And does he mean hirelings? Anyway, please tell me about these books/PDF. How are they?

To my knowledge, they never came out. I was sooooooooooooooooo very much looking forward to d6 Magic. I'm still hoping that the material will see the light of day.

There was never any "hirelings" book planned. I'm not sure where that came from. For that matter, we never planned any scenarios for Bloodshadows, either.

Otherwheres and D6 Magic were both interesting books, unfortunately the development rather fizzled on D6 Magic (resulting in a manuscript that would need extensive editing to bring it in line with all of the other books) and the plug was pulled on Otherwheres almost before it even got started as far as I can recall.

Otherwheres is done, but I'd need to find to backup disk somewhere since my computer crash last year. VMoM I have, but not in a publishable form.

OK, I was half right.
Nice to hear that Otherwheres is still a (remote) possibility.
VMoM (D6 Magic) at one point you alluded to perhaps heavy amounts of rewriting and editing to make it work I thought -- which probably is pretty close to "unpublishable".

Curiously, that web forgets about the two Locations books.

Eric, I hope you find that disk, so Otherweres is not lost.
That cover for Magic looked good. It was the oficial one?

Yes

Damn, minimum length requirement.

Great news. So, is Otherwheres a setting for D6 Fantasy, or what?

Yes, sort of. It's could be called a small anthology of settings for D6 Fantasy (or D6 Adventure if you so choose) that are tied together with a loose plot hook. The plot revolves around a group of heroes (the players) given the ability to jump through dimensions to some of the settings included in the book, and still many more that could not be.

Of course, Otherwheres has been done for years, sans the cover art. Again, it's a matter of finding the backup disk wherever it is.

Sounds interesting. If you find that maybe that could be a new WEG product released in celebration of Open D6.

I curious, did Otherwheres use one set of attributes, or did you have to choose between Fantasy and Adventure?

IIRC, it used D6 Fantasy.

I love dimension hopping stories. :D

Hope you find it (a little egoistic, I know)
