I've always found their posts to have "a point", which is always good of course. :) Not just rambling blogging. They have a rather extensive archive - http://www.roleplayingtips.com/archives/
Also, you can sign up to be mailed when they post new items.

I've been a member of the RPT list since mid-2000 and at one time Jon was considering using a site I had as a mirror. It's a great newsletter blog that I keep kicking myself for not getting off my fat-butt and submitting an article to it.
