d6 is kinda light on rules for making things... from Star Wars and d6 Space I know of Starship construction rules and installation construction rules in Hideous and Strongholds...
Does anyone have home-grown construction rules lying around?
For...
Vehicles
Mecha
Weapons
Magic Items/Artifacts
Potions/Elixirs

D6 Powers from Khepera Publishing is a good supplement for things like that.

I agree with Cryonic. D6 Powers is what you are looking for.
One of the projects I have on hold is to use it for making "modules" for faster and more restricted construction for a campaign I am preparing.
For example, 3 types of "ground vehicle chassis", 3 "armor levels", 2 "aircraft types", several "weapon packs", etc. Then you only have to combine several modules to have the vehicle built.
I am also pondering on rules for creating "furry" characters, but I suppose it can be done with the normal character creation rules, just tweaking with Advantages, Disadvantages, and Special Abilities.

Wasn't there a d6 game, "Psibertroopers"? I can't recall if it had mecha design rules or not...

Yes, there was a Psibertroopers game. No, it didn't have mecha design rules. They did have some mech type things in it, but no rules for making them (at least not in the main book. I didn't get their expansions so I don't know). They *DID* have the really cool idea of Chesspiece Goons in the Psibertroopers book, though!
