I have had D6 Space in .pdf and today I went out and got both D6 Adventure and D6 Space in print and I have to say I am very happy with my purchases.
I already have an idea for a game I want to run using D6 Adventure and other ideas churning. Also I am happy because now I have the rules in print and I can continue to get rid of any and all games I have in .pdf.
Happy, Happy Day.

I just don't think I would ever use the fantasy rulebook. I may get it later, but if I do I am going to get it online and a discount and not at the full price my FLGS charges (and they still charge the cover price, not the price that Hellsreach dropped it to).

Wah? See that's why some FLGS are failing. They are totally out of touch.

I think those two books will be the last books I buy at my FLGS. From now on I am buying 100% of my game books online.

I'm glad you're happy with the books. Strangely, I was more happy with Fantasy than Space. It's probably because I'm REALLY gung ho on the Star Wars R&E, and the Space changed a few thins that I really liked about the system. I was a bit more prepared for the changes when I bought Fantasy.
Though, When I buy a dead tree RPG book, I usually try to buy the PDF as well. Heh... Eric sold me the Fantasy book twice. :) It's convenient for printing off the occasional page that I may want to always keep around or for cutting and pasting rules to make my own quick "cheat sheet" for rules, equipment, and the like.

I have found some really good online stores so I am going to buy my game books online from now on. I will probably pick up D6 Fantasy and even Bloodshadows and Fires because I can get them cheaper then I can at a local FLGS.

I don't do .pdfs anymore. For me it's got to be in print or I wont look at it. to each his own.

Uh oh.... you're not going the way of Skeloric, are you GG? ;)
Admittedly, I much prefer actual books over PDFs but I can see where a PDF on occasion can be useful. Not in actually running a game or anything, as I never game next to a computer, but in getting information for cheap and having it to reference for other things (and convert to D6 :D)

No, Skeloric is no .pdfs no way ever. Me, I tried .pdfs and found doing a search in a .pdf is slow and slows the game down and I don't like my games to be slowed down. So now I only do print games.

Have you tried the FoxIt Reader. I had the same problems with PDFs and use this freeware now. It always amazes me how fast this is.

I have and I just don't dig .pdfs. So from now on I am just going to be print product or nothing at all.
Thanks for the suggestion though
