While I appreciate some of the game play of this series, I intensely dislike the storyline and its implications. I thought I should say that before I continue so you all know where I stand ;).

That having been said, I am actually considering using the 'hero' of TFU in my campaign—not as a hero, but as a grossly overpowered villain. That having been said, what do you figure Starkiller's Stats would be?

Control?
Sense?
Alter?
Lightsaber?

Other?

I won't even get into some of the new powers he has exhibited (like the 'Force-Disintegrate whatchamacallit), just your takes on some basic stats, if you would...

Wow, so not a lot of Force Unleashed fans out there? Or did I scare you off with my negativity—or is everyone just too busy? In any case, I'll throw my hat into the ring with the stats I am considering using... and fair warning, they are going to be rather bogus.

Starkiller:

Control 9D
Sense 11D
Alter 15D
Lightsaber 9D

Pretty bogus, right? But by the end of the first game, at least, that's probably close- especially when you consider how he fought and beat both Darth Vader and the Emperor in back-to-back duels. I definitely think the Control skill would be his lowest one. Starkiller has been described as a 'Force Wrecking Ball' and to me that just screams 'Alter' (and Telekinesis).

What do you think?

I never played the game. And all the reviews I heard about it (from people I trust) were bad.

Pulling a Star Destroyer out of orbit using telekinesis? give me a break!

Oh. I agree. I didn't like it either. Which is why I am longing to get some 'revenge' by pitting Starkiller (or at least a 'toned down' version of him) versus my players. And in his defense, Starkiller didn't pull the destroyer from orbit, just from... low orbit. So... yeah. That makes it much more believable. Much.

Well, I'd say add some special abilities to him. I am converting the SWSE into d6 rules and have added most of the "talents" as character point bought special abilities. I'm still adjusting the Unleashed abilities, but I'd suggest putting that into your game. Say, 50 points to purchase Unleashed Ability, then write up special rules for your Force powers. However, they have to be purchased separately because of their power. That way you could use the standard C/S/A scale, but the power would provide different effects.

Then again, I also made Dual Lightsaber combat and Lightstaff combat Advanced skills.

This doesn't have the "Starkiller" apprentice stats, but it does have other Force Unleased stuff you may be interested in. FYI.

I think that trying to represent Starkiller in the D6 stat is going to be horribly difficult. There are so many abilities that he has that just don't translate well into D6 mechanics (and perhaps shouldn't). I think that your intuition of having his Alter as being far and above the other Force stats is a good representation. Almost all of his powers are focused around hitting stuff hard. (In the games it seems that if brute force doesn't solve the problem, then you're not hitting it hard enough.)

I've got some information on my other computer (which I'm currently trying to bring back to functionality after having to format my hard drive) that may assist you. I can give some conversion references and perhaps a few other suggestions after taking a look at his d20 stat block.

I honestly don't think there is a way to represent Starkiller in D6 stats- not unless you're using D6 DC Heroes. In order to regularly accomplish all the things he seems capable of, Starkiller would probably need an Alter Skill of like 30D or something ridiculous like that (I mean, the guy can swat capital ships out of his way, now). So I guess what I'm looking for is a slightly 'toned down' version of him that would still be bogus, but not into the realms of unbelievability shown in the games. Any d20 references that compare him to a known D6 quantity (like Vader or the Emperor for instance) would be helpful if you have the time/desire, Cheshire.
