Legendary artist Frank Frazetta has passed... cause of death was a stroke.

My wife just told me about this. Wow, my childhood heroes are quickly becoming history. To Frank Frazetta, Bob Bledsoe, Gary Gygax, and Dave Arneson (and others I may have missed): thank you all for the quest your have set generations upon. May your pens, pencils, and paint brushes ever color the heavens with your imaginations.

Man. We've lost another of the true greats who shaped modern fantasy. Rest in peace, Mr. Frazetta.

JP, your eulogy reminded me of the Robin Williams movie "What Dreams May Come" in which the afterlife was (initially) a painting that the protagonist inhabited. If that's accurate, I'd love to see where Mr. Frazetta is now! What a sight that would be!
