I am curious if when the new person buys WEG whether it would be worth doing a new version of bloodshadows.
Do you think it would be worth it? Or do you think what is already out is enough? Do you think there would even be enough interest to make it worth it?

I would prefer a "perfected" version.
With BOTH cities detailed.
The original Masterbook version had 5 books to it.
I'd like to see them updated.
Also, I'd like to see dual-statted books, with TORG being the second set.
To be honest, d6 and TORG should be offered as interchangeable in all books, giving us multiple ways to use each and every book only increases its value.

In fact we have 3 different games with stats: Torg, Masterbook and D6. Though there are differences between Shatterzone and Masterbook they can be ignored, also the differences between the many incarnations of D6 can be ignored but the difference between Torg and Masterbook stats are too great to interchange.
I would love to have another system that makes comparison easy using the measure conversion chart.
If I haven't forgotten one there where 4 cities featured: Galitia, Selastos, Albredura and Padarr. As stated before I would like to see a geography of Marl with lots of cities and outstanding features. Not all cities should be detailed but at least the most important need to be outlined while the others could only be mentioned in some sentences. A good example for this is the (fan-produced) germany sourcebook for Shadowrun. Just think about how you would describe our world to a stranger. You would outline the geography, hint on some interesting sites like the grand canyon, describe the important states and the most important cities. To make the picture complete you would also add some of the most defining historic events.

Do you have any system in mind?

So you would like to see a few small cities, outside of the major cities. Maybe they have a little detail about them and outline the geography around?

I am working on one. 4 weeks in the making now, should be ready soon.
But for the purpose of combining D6, Torg and Masterbook any one of them should suffice with integration of those parts the other systems are missing.
All three use the measure conversion chart, so converting from one system to another is no problem. Problem is: all systems use different Attributes. Skills are nearly identitcal though often allocated to different Attributes.
With the Attributes it is more a problem of nomenclature than anything else. There is no fundamental difference between Coordination or Agility f.i. it is mostly a difference in wording as D6 shows. The three incarnations of the new D6 are practically identical and there is no problem in using one with the other though the Attributes are named differently.
But there is also the chance to go farther. Use the measure conversion chart to make a true generic system. This does work better with Masterbook or Torg than D6 as Attributes/Skills are already modeled after the measure chart. But I would love to have the Scale system in it too.

Basically, yes. A map where everything is located that is mentioned in the text is a must. On this map there could even be much more cities and sites.
Also, the borders have to be drawn there. In Bloodshadows boundaries are more (as I see it) zones of influence than clearly defined borders.
In the text the cities should be outlined together with their zones of influence, some villages, waystops, interesting sites as being close to states. People in thoses "states" should have a distinctive mentality or features that distinguish them from people of other "states" maybe combined with their distinctive world view and prejudices they have against others and others have against them. Also, a political landscape would be helpful to show who is allied to whom and in conflict with whom. Also helpful would be traditional trade routes and goods each city is famous for.
But the most interesting way (don't know whose idea it was, but it came from this forum) would be to place Bloodshadows in three times (God war I, Bloodshadows now, future). Begin with a map that only features the geography of Marl and complete it with maps that show the three different settings.

I agree that this is a good idea. I think a game with a large area to explorer makes the game more usable and frankly improves the replayablity of the game.
