As it turns out someone was selling some used, nearly mint, D6 Fantasy and D6 Space books on Ebay which I picked up for a bargain.

Will be looking forward to checking it out. Now I just need to get a group together...

Yeah, I don't think you can beat that price anywhere else that is for sure.

But at USD$23.26, I can buy the same book off the shelf from London and get posted cheaper,

So not a practical bargain from here, which is a shame, because I would buy alot more if it didn't get killed by the postage,

Well the weird thing is I know Eric/Hellsreach discussed dropping the price on the core books to like $15, but I think what happened was that game stores had the books still that (they bought at whatever their cost is) and are trying to still sell them at the old price as to not totally loose money on the books.

I wish there was like a convention or something that Eric/Hellsreach could take what he has on hand and try to sell the items directly to try to free up some space make some money.

Certainly here in the UK the core books are available at either ?19.99 or ?11.99 (or thereabouts) depending on where you go, including Internet stores. Because it's not a huge seller I suspect that you are right and many shops kept the higher price even though the RRP dropped, probably waiting for their stock to sell through. Somewhere like Leisure Games, selling more product, could reduce the price, thus making it even less likely that the other stores will move their books quickly... Ah well, I already have the core books and I only need a copy of Fires... to complete the whole set.

Notice you don't see D6 Adventure there for $4. I sold another retailer a couple hundred each of D6 Space and D6 Fantasy from right around the same amount ($4). Apparently that retailer sold some of them to another retailer that I did NOT want getting them (Troll and Toad) and is Floolding the market with them. While I'm very happy your got quite a deal, this kind of action really hurts other retailers and I'm not happy about it.
