I just purchased D6 Adventure and think that I have everything figured out, but I can't seem to grasp what the basic "Difficulty to Hit" would be.

Is the standard "5" as a base with modifiers?

Is it the same base for Brawling, Melee and Ranged attacks?

Sorry to be such a newbie at this, but what I've read so far makes me think I'm going to be converting ALL of my settings to the D6 System.

I'm looking at D6 Space, but it says the base difficulty to hit is 10 in the early part of the combat chapter.

Thank you!

Yep, it's right there on page 58... I must have read that four or five times and missed it each time.

Wow! What a great system. I can't wait to try it out.

Glad I could help and that can happen. Sometimes just sitting back and reading it again later can help.

I hope you enjoy the system when you run/play it.

Yep, Base is 10, point blank is -5 mod, so 5 when in hand-to-hand :)
