World Laws
"Beauty In Form and Function"
Members of the Cosm adhere to belief in physical ideal as an extension of their inner self.
As such, as long as their Spirit and Charisma Attributes are 10 or higher they receive a +3 to Strength and Toughness.
Additionally, Mind must always be lowest Attribute -- other Attributes can be AS low but no lower.
(Active Law, only applies to those of the Cosm)

Cowardice is Anathema
Acts of trickery and deceit are truly repugnant, thus such acts that are deemed to be beneath that of a warrior are actively opposed by reality.
Use of Trick, Taunt, Forgery, Impersonation are 4-case contradictions, those attempting to use the forbidden abilities also lose their benefits from "Beauty In Form and Function" until they achieve atonement.
(Passive Law, applies to all in the Cosm as well as native to it.)

This reality follows in a very crooked manner an unflattering satire of Classic Greco-Roman custom and appearance.
The ogres would be as upset at the "little men" aping their ways as the average Grecian or Roman would be of these lumbering neanderthalish beings aping theirs.
Either way, the similarities are only surface deep.

Ogres stand about 9 ft tall and weigh about 800 pounds.
Their overall appearance is that of an oversized yet somehow unfinished representation of human being.

They call their world "Ogla" or perhaps "Ogra" depending on the regional dialect.

When I saw the subject line I thought that maybe you'd based this on the Steve Jackson Game "Ogre". Now, obviously, this is not the case.
May I ask where this stems from?

This is a conquered Cosm of the FSI of "DarkEath", a twisted reflection of core Earth where the American nation is a lot more brutal to its citizens and a lot more successful at wars -- thus it covers all of North America and Central America and even some parts of South America as well as overseas.
A place where a unicameral Senate has inheritable "family" seats going all the way back to the founding of the nation and the average man on the street isn't given any say whatsoever.
In short, they are all living the American Nightmare.
The Ogre Cosm was one of the ones they invaded early on and decided to pull out before they had drained it completely and instead use its "human resource".
This therefore is the first time that Cosm has been written out.
The other has appeared in numerous places, the last one on a website that has been offline or I would have moved it to here by now (hopefully it goes back online soon...)

Just as a heads up, read more about Dark Earth itself -- now available in these forums. (http://www.wegfanforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80)

Same here. When I was thinking of "unofficial" new cosms this week, this one came up, but the one for GURPS Reign of Steel ("The robots won.") seems much nastier, especially since it would likely be at war with every other cosm.
