I was talking to a few people and we were dicussing adding blogs for various WEG products (Such as D6, Torg and the like) and I was curious to see if anyone would be interested in running a blog.
I would set up the blogs here (I would set up the page) and everyone could have their own blog to discuss WEG products as well as share ideas for various WEG products.
Anyone interested?

I never read blogs and generally only find myself at a blog by accident if it is offered in the list of links by a metacrawl and it wasn't automatically obvious that it was a blog.

I have done a bit of blogging, and would be interested.

Exactly how would it be different from our Forums ?
Normally blogs are set up in the absence of a forum.

Sure, that would be neat :)

I'm with skeloric on this one. A particular blog is great when google points me to one, but that's it. The strength of a blog is not "what" is getting blogged, but "who" is blogging it. Right now, there's simply no one in the D6 scene that could make that interesting to me.
Get a designer to blog about rules or setting decisions (behind the scenes stuff) and I'll get on board.

I think it could be cool
I liked the WEG blog that existed for a while

I know it wouldnt be easy but it would be cool if we could get someone like Bill Coffin (Of Septimus Fame) blogging about D6 or Septimus).
I am not sure what is going to happen with this

I don't read blogs. Though they may be interesting sometimes, mostly blogs are used to pamper the ego of the one who writes them (being a journalist, I might be a bit biased on that issue).

Well yeah, but that has nothing to do with blogs though, but more to do with the person behind the blog.
But you can read newspaper columns and see the same thing. People are people (not saying that you as a journalist)

Since I never ranked the movies, I will. And I'll date myself.
First Place: The Empire Strikes Back (original)
Close 2nd: Star Wars (original...wasn't called "A New Hope")
3rd Place: Return of the Jedi (believe it or not, the 2004 version)
4th Place: Attack of the Clones (lesser of the three evils, IMO)
5th Place: Revenge of the Sith (I felt it too dark)
Last Place: The Phantom Menace (*yawn*)

Is there supposed to be a poll about wanting WEG-related blogs here? I'm seeing one asking me what my favorite Star Wars movie is instead.

Hmmm... t'would appear there's a glitch somewhere that needs to be looked at.

Yeah, weird. The glitch is that me posting that new Star Wars thread with poll somehow is connecting with this unrelated thread. But the poll is identical on the correct real thread (so no votes seem to be lost):
