Hello, once again I will try to make a french version of the D6 System (once I bought the license but the contracts disapeared in the voïd...).

Well now I would like to know how Eric will manage translations ?

As short as SRD will be published, I'm going to translate it for France. Maybe there is a mean to share the task ?

I sent Eric the spanish translation for D6 Adventure.

As there is no oficial SRD or OGL document in spanish, I'm waiting for Eric to finish the specific D6 one, then I'll translate it and paste it to the game.

I don't know if it will be part of the "build your own system" (useless with no additional submissions in each language) or it will be in one single document.

French, or for that manner, any translations are more than welcome. They'll of course be covered under the same OpenD6 STL, which will require that all new or derivative material (including translations) be Open as well and be submitted to OpenD6.com for Archival. In the mean time, until OpenD6 is up and active, if you have a translation, please send it to my email and I'll make it available in the SRD -- as soon as I actually get off my lazy butt and, you know HAVE an SRD.

I'm thinking on doing a german kind of translation. Actually unifiing all 3 core-books into one text in german with the redundancy removed. Would this be allowed, too? And if yes, what format do you prefer? I'll work in Apple Pages.app but I guess that would probably not desirable ;) The endresult will probably exported as pdf, but I could easily provide the text as utf-8 plaintext.
