For Game Guy:
I thought I saw in another thread (could not find it of course) that you were thinking of using Skype to run an online game. You may want to also look into the online client/server java based mapping program called MapTool ; and it's tangential program TokenTool found here:

Just click on Launch then the development version of MapTools, or TokenTools to use. It works very well to create online maps that each of your players logs into, and they see tokens moving around as you update them. There are some good bells and whistles as far as fog of war shading on the map you can use to reveal portions of the map as they go around corners and stuff like that.

Combined with Skype (or Ventrillo or Teamspeak2 voice apps), its basically a virtual table top rpg game.

Great WIKI on the maptools product..

This is a really nice application for on-line role-playing. It's very easy to customize for just about any tabletop game, even board games if you wanted to.

I prefer OpenRPG, it gives me more of what I want.

Looks very similar. I'll have to try it out sometime.
