View Full Version : Completing the Axiom list.

I've been at loggerheads with others over the Axioms for ages.
There is a prevalent opinion that the current Axioms cannot be completely filled in without massive distortion of the known elements of the list and thus -- at last point -- there was talk of building the Axioms from the ground up with no regard for the current charts at all.

I could be wrong -- after all it does seem be a World Law of our own reality that I am to be assumed to be wrong 99% of the time -- but I have had a long term goal of filling in the Axioms without causing massive alterations.

I do have a beginnings of sorts:
The Tech Axiom 24 to 33 (http://www.freewebs.com/skeloric-torg/SKEL-Tech24to33.pdf)
So I have gotten some work completed.

Unfortunately, I grew a bit discouraged on the project and keep meaning to start again.

Note, this is an older incarnation of the span from 24 to 33.
One error is still in this copy:
Tech 30 where it mentions "no more spectacular than driving across town" instead it should read " no more spectacular than driving to a nearby city".

Concerning your notes: in 1.5 there are entries for Tech 28 and 29.
If Eric doesn't mind I can post the axiom charts somewhere (or extracts if posting the complete charts is not acceptable).

I'm not worried about 1.5 yet.
I'm still trying to see if I can do 1.0 and if I ever finish THEN I'll worry about reconciling with 1.5.

It is my hope to build MY version of the Axioms someday for use in
TORG1.0
Not having access to "1.5", I haven't a clue as to how much of the
Axioms have already been built up and thus I could be pointlessly
trying to reinvent the wheel...
I was just referring to that fact as you do try to reinvent something that's already been done.

Am I close in my reinvent?

As was to be expected, sometimes yes, sometimes no. I'd rather leave that to Jim to comment as he designed or at least compiled the chart. Maybe I still can post it (once Eric reads this :) )
